2007 Fellowship Activities
Well the summer of 2007 has been
quite an exciting adventure when you let the Lord make your plans
for you. First I went along on the CrossRoads Church Youth
Ministry annual canoe trip down the Eel river again and then
within two days It was necessary for me to put my own personal
plans aside but it was worth the blessing to follow His will.
This blessing turned out to be helping a good friend move to
Wyoming and taking some extra time with my wife and son to do a
road trip exploring, camping, fishing and adventuring through the
Tetons, Yellowstone, and other areas and cities in Wyoming, then
through Idaho, Utah and Nevada before finally heading back to
home. After a short break went as a camp counselor with the
CrossRoads Church Youth to Camp Jenness in the Sierra Nevada
Mountains for another week. I'm not sure who was blessed more the
youth or myself as I saw them grow in the Lord and make their
choices to give their life to Him. Packed up my daughter off to
College as she is now a freshman at California Baptist
University. Was able to get my certification with the California
Dept. of Fish and Game as a Hunter Education Instructor so I can
now offer teaching Hunter Education classes as well as team
teaching courses at Ukiah Gun Club. Still working on also
becoming an official archery instructor for those that are
interested in getting into that discipline as well. Before I knew
it and school was back in session and my wife and son are back
into the school scene for the year. Whew, maybe I can finally to
a few round tuits and get some more events going. Oh yeh I forgot
about the Camping and Fishing trip to the Sierras around Emigrant
Pass coming in October, boy does time fly when your having fun!
After that we'll see what exciting things the Lord provides. If
anyone has any ideas of things they would like to get going let
me know and we'll see what we can plan. I will post some photos
soon I hope.
